Osun State University (UNIOSUN) will graduate 49 students with First Class honours at its 15th convocation ceremony scheduled for September 22–23, 2025.
Vice-Chancellor, Professor Odunayo Clement Adebooye, disclosed this at a pre-convocation briefing in Osogbo, noting that the achievements reflect the university’s efficiency and commitment to quality education.
He announced that a total of 2,851 graduates will be awarded degrees and diplomas. These include 2,505 first degrees, one postgraduate diploma, 283 master’s degrees, and 62 doctoral degrees.
Among the first-degree recipients, 988 students finished with Second Class Upper Division, 1,279 with Second Class Lower Division, 178 with Third Class honours, while one student graduated with a Pass.
Adebooye explained that the graduating set comprises students admitted during the 2020/2021 and 2021/2022 sessions who have completed all requirements. He praised their dedication, emphasising that the convocation reflects the university’s commitment to maintaining academic excellence.
