A lecturer at the University of Port Harcourt, Dr Anasiudu of the Department of English Studies, has emerged winner of the 2025 NLNG Nigeria Prize for Literary Criticism.
The announcement, made during the award ceremony, was met with a standing ovation as the University community celebrated the achievement.
The Vice-Chancellor described Okwudiri’s feat as a reflection of UNIPORT’s tradition of academic excellence, creativity and critical scholarship. He reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to fostering an environment where both staff and students can thrive and contribute meaningfully to national and global intellectual development.
