Abayomi Adeyeri Inducted into EKSU Alumni Hall of Fame
Ekiti State University (EKSU) has inducted Abayomi Adeyeri into its Alumni Hall of Fame, recognising his exceptional leadership, service and contributions to the university and society. The event celebrated his achievements as a business executive, philanthropist and community leader.
Adeyeri, from Owo, Ondo State, holds a Bachelor’s degree in Botany from EKSU and an MBA from the University of Maiduguri, as well as leadership certifications from Harvard University. He is a Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Credit Administration and an Honorary Senior Member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers. An active Rotarian, he has championed education, community empowerment, and humanitarian initiatives.
In his remarks, Adeyeri dedicated the honour to EKSU’s legacy of excellence and thanked the university’s leadership, alumni executives, and his late mother, Dr F. B. O. Ala, for shaping his journey.
The induction included prominent figures such as Ekiti State Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji and Olowo of Owo, Oba Ajibade Gbadegesin Ogunoye III.
