Students of Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, have celebrated the payment of their tuition and long-awaited upkeep allowances facilitated by the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND).
In a video shared by presidential aide, Bayo Onanuga, via his official X (formerly Twitter) account on Tuesday, students were captured dancing and chanting joyfully in what appeared to be a spontaneous celebration across campus. “ABU students celebrating payment of their fees and receiving their upkeep from NELFUND,” Onanuga captioned the post, which has since gone viral.
