The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) and Visitor to Redeemer’s University, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, says he hopes to make the institution tuition-free in the future.
Speaking during a meeting with the 2024/2025 graduating students at the university’s Ede campus in Osun State, Adeboye said the vision could be realised through the financial support and commitment of alumni who would give back to sustain their alma mater.
He urged the graduates, known as the “Indomitable Set”, to maintain their values and use their education to make a positive impact globally. Adeboye also welcomed them into the university’s alumni network, calling for stronger unity and collaboration among past students.
Vice-Chancellor Professor Shadrach Akindele thanked the cleric for his continued support and described the meeting as spiritually uplifting.
Redeemer’s university will hold its undergraduate convocation ceremony on October 9, followed by the postgraduate convocation on October 10.
