Prof. Oladapo Afolabi, the Former Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, has urged the federal government to reposition postgraduate education in the country.
Delivering a paper on ‘Postgraduate Education: Agenda for National Development’ at the 2025 Annual Lecture of the School of Postgraduate Studies, Afolabi said this step will foster national development.
He added, “Governments, universities, industry and civil society must collaborate to develop and implement a robust agenda that ensures postgraduate education delivers value, relevance and transformation.” According to him, learning from other global leaders could bring progress to Nigeria’s postgraduate system.
