The Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) has paid out ₦19,540,000 to support 91 students at the Federal College of Agriculture, Moor Plantation, Ibadan (FCAIB).
Before the disbursement, the institution sensitised the students about NELFund’s objectives, loan benefits, and application steps.
The college, in a statement, appreciated the federal government for the funds, adding that the scheme will benefit indigent students in all tertiary institutions.
Jonathan J. Atungwu, the college provost, said the institution will stay committed to enhancing students’ access to higher education, especially those with limited financial capacity.
