Amadeus University has received approval from the National Universities Commission (NUC) to offer programmes in Law, Medicine and Surgery, and Pharmacy, starting with the 2025/2026 session. Vice-Chancellor Prof Samuel Nzotta said the approval followed a thorough evaluation of the university’s academic and human resources.
He confirmed that admissions have begun for MBBS (Medicine & Surgery) and Doctor of Pharmacy (D. Pharm), with JAMB score requirements of 200 for MBBS and 180 for D. Pharm, in addition to relevant SSCE and NECO credits.
Nzotta advised candidates to apply through the JAMB CAPS portal and change their university or course choice accordingly. He noted that admissions for the university’s 19 other courses are ongoing and will close on November 30, 2025.
The university, inaugurated by Senate President Godswill Akpabio in February 2025, plans to matriculate its first 100-Level students in February 2026.
Nzotta highlighted that Amadeus University boasts a highly qualified faculty, globally standard teaching facilities, and an attractive campus environment comparable to those of leading institutions both nationally and internationally.
