Aminu Saleh Announces Strict Measures Ahead of Semester Examinations

The management of Aminu Saleh College of Education has announced stricter enforcement of examination rules ahead of the second semester assessments for the 2024/2025 academic session. In a circular issued on Tuesday, September 9, the Registrar, Suleiman Shehu, said the move follows concerns over student behaviour that could disrupt the smooth conduct of examinations.

Students have been warned against bringing mobile phones, electronic gadgets or bags into examination halls, with officials stressing that violators will face sanctions. Candidates are also required to arrive at least 30 minutes before the start of each paper and must carry valid identification and examination cards.

The college said any student who arrives late risks losing the right to sit the examination. Staff invigilators have also been directed to report early and ensure full compliance with the guidelines.

Management said the measures were designed to curb malpractice and maintain discipline during examinations.
