Applications are now open for the 2026 West Africa Oil and Gas Development Undergraduate Scholarship, which supports Nigerian students enrolled in federal and state universities.
The scheme offers ₦250,000 annually, renewable based on academic performance, alongside a laptop to support studies. Eligible candidates must be Nigerian citizens currently enrolled full-time in an undergraduate programme for the 2025/2026 academic session.
Applicants are required to submit documents, including a completed application form, passport photograph, O-Level and UTME results, university admission letter, student ID card, birth certificate, local government identification, and National Identification Number (NIN) slip.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to an interview, and scholarships will be awarded only to those who meet all eligibility and selection criteria.
The scholarship aims to equip students with resources to excel academically and contribute to national development, while promoting inclusivity among Nigerian undergraduates.
Interested students can apply online through the scholarship portal. The application window closes on Tuesday, December 23 2025.
