The 14 Brigade of the Nigerian Army has started sensitising youths in Abia State on the ongoing recruitment exercise for the 90 Regular Recruit Intake (90 RRI).
According to Lt. Anna Tsaku, Acting Assistant Director of Army Public Relations, the recruitment portal opened on September 19. The exercise aims to provide young Nigerians with the opportunity to join the Army and serve the country with courage and honour.
The sensitisation campaign is part of efforts to ensure that eligible youths in Abia are aware of the process and requirements. The Army stressed that the recruitment is a rare opportunity for young people to contribute to national security while also building a career.
The 90 RRI is one of the regular intake programmes of the Nigerian Army designed to attract disciplined, committed, and patriotic Nigerians into the military.
This move comes as the Army continues to expand its personnel strength to meet rising security challenges across the nation.
