Auchi Polytechnic, Edo State, has recorded a national feat as Miss Ruth Oshiogbhele Victoria of the Department of Food Technology emerged the Best Graduating Student in Food Science and Technology across all Nigerian tertiary institutions.
Graduating in the 2023/2024 academic session with a perfect 4.00 CGPA, Miss Oshiogbhele received multiple awards, prizes and an automatic employment offer for her outstanding performance.
The recognition took place at the International Conference of the Nigerian Institute of Food Science and Technology (NIFST) in Ilorin, Kwara State, attended by scholars, professionals, and industry leaders.
Rector Dr Salisu Shehu Umar lauded her achievement as a reflection of Auchi Polytechnic’s commitment to producing graduates capable of competing on a global scale. He also praised the Department of Food Technology for maintaining rigorous academic standards and encouraged other students to emulate her discipline and dedication.
