Distinguished academics, medical professionals, and advocates will make expert presentations during a ‘Brain Awareness Week’ public lecture at Ahmadu Bello University on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, an event co-organised by the Neuroscience Society of Nigeria.
The lecture, organised by the Neuroscience Society of Nigeria (NSN), Ahmadu Bello University Chapter, will be held from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at the College of Postgraduate Studies Auditorium, Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. It is part of the activities marking the Brain Awareness Week 2025.
“Brain on Burnout: The Impact of Environmental Stressors, Substance Use, and Sleep Deprivation” is the theme for this year’s Brain Awareness Week. The lecture is also part of a broader global campaign, coordinated by the Dana Foundation and the International Brain Research Organisation (IBRO), aimed at promoting public engagement and brain health education.
