Bayero University, Kano, has revised its second-semester schedule, announcing the cancellation of the mid-semester break and its merger with the Christmas and New Year holiday period.
Under the new arrangement, students will proceed on break from December 22 2025 and are expected to return on January 10 2026, a shift from the earlier resumption date of January 3.
Management explained that the extended holiday window serves as compensation for the scrapped mid-semester break. Students have been advised to note the changes and comply with the updated calendar.
