The Claretian University of Nigeria (CUN) concluded its 2024/2025 academic session with a special thanksgiving Mass and celebration. The event took place on Sunday, June 29, 2025. It was led by Rev. Fr. Prof. Phillip Ogbonna, Pro-Chancellor of Imo State University, alongside CUN’s Vice Chancellor and other top officials.
During the homily, the school’s Registrar, Rev. Fr. Dr John Ezenwankwor, spoke about Saints Peter and Paul. He encouraged everyone to learn from their good lives and prayed for the success of the graduating students.The Vice Chancellor, Rev. Fr. Prof. Wenceslaus Madu, thanked the parents for their faith in the school and advised the graduates to be good ambassadors. The IMSU Pro-Chancellor also promised to support CUN and work together with the school. Some highlights of the day included the setting up of committees for the school’s first convocation in November and the swearing-in of new student leaders.
