The Governing Council members of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) have applauded the institution for its modern-day abattoir under construction.
Speaking about the abattoir, the members described it as one that will add value, drive community engagement, and ensure food safety.
Prof. Babatunde Kehinde, FUNAAB’s Vice Chancellor, said the abattoir will foster agricultural innovation and provide students with practical knowledge on meat production and processing.
Recall that the institution recently signed a memorandum of understanding with the Global Cooperation Promotion Research Council (GCPRC) to improve cooperation in education and research.
