The Ekiti State University (EKSU) Alumni Association has begun work on a new Alumni Centre for Leadership, Governance and Entrepreneurship in Ado-Ekiti. The foundation-laying ceremony was performed by the association’s Global President, Ambassador Seyi Idowu, alongside Vice Chancellor Prof. Joseph Babatola Ayodele and other top alumni leaders.
According to Ambassador Idowu, the centre will feature a fully digitised 100-seater hall, three conference rooms, smaller training halls, offices, a mini-library, and a gallery to showcase the university’s history and celebrate outstanding alumni. He described the project as a hub designed to promote leadership, entrepreneurship, and legacy preservation.
The Vice-Chancellor described the initiative as a landmark project that will leave a lasting impact on the university community. Ambassador Seyi Idowu explained that the centre will unite EKSU graduates around the world and serve as a beacon of excellence and a platform to inspire future generations of EKSU graduates.
