The Education Writers Association of Nigeria (EWAN) will hold its 2025 annual summit themed ‘Nigeria’s Obsession with Paper Qualification and Integrity of Public Examinations: Is TVET the Way Forward?’ on Thursday, November 27, 2025.
The summit will address Nigeria’s focus on paper qualifications and the credibility of public examinations.
In a statement, EWAN noted that the summit will also examine the role of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) in fixing unemployment and bridging the skills gap in Nigeria.
Prof. Folasade Ogunsola, the Vice Chancellor of the University of Lagos (UNILAG), will host the event, while Dr Tunji Alausa, the Minister of Education, will deliver a keynote address.
