Dr. Tunji Alausa, the Minister of Education, has announced the federal government’s approval of the establishment of nine private universities in Nigeria.
Alausa mentioned that out of the 551 pending requests President Tinubu’s administration received, nine have been cleared based on strict approval guidelines. The approved universities are Unique Open University, Lagos State; American Open University, Ogun State; JEFAP University, Niger State; Jimoh Babalola University, Kwara State; Tazkiyah University, Kaduna State; Leadership University, Abuja; Bridget University, Mbaise, Imo State; Greenland University, Jigawa State; and Azione Verde University, Imo State.
