Prof. Isaac Zeb-Obipi, Vice Chancellor of Rivers State University, has advised the federal government to leverage the country’s researchers.
He elaborated that leveraging the knowledge of scholars, serving and retired, can contribute to national and sustainable development and help solve critical issues.
The Vice-Chancellor admonished the federal government to implement the solutions outlined in various academic publications, seminars, and inaugural lectures.
“Anytime we have an inaugural lecture, you will find a professor providing solutions. That is why we are encouraging the Federal, State, and Local Governments, as well as industry, to tap into this body of knowledge that is churned out whenever such lectures are given.”
