FG to Launch Free Financial Literacy Programme for Youths

Comrade Ayodele Olawande, Minister of Youth Development

The federal government will unveil a nationwide financial literacy training programme for over 100,000 youths on Tuesday, November 25, in Abuja.

The initiative, led by the Federal Ministry of Youth Development in partnership with Investonaire Academy, is titled the “Financial Literacy, Investment, and Wealth Creation Programme.”

The programme aims to equip young Nigerians with financial management skills, investment knowledge, and digital competencies to support sustainable wealth creation. It will feature a state-of-the-art Learning Management System (LMS), funded trading accounts, and incentives for high-performing participants.

The launch will bring together senior government officials, youth representatives, development partners, and private sector leaders.

Minister of Youth Development, Comrade Ayodele Olawande, will host the event, while the Minister of Women Affairs, Hajiya Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim, will serve as Special Guest of Honour. Representatives from Investonaire Academy and Hantec Markets will also be in attendance.

A panel of experts will discuss strategies to expand youth financial capability, investment skills and economic inclusion. Participants are encouraged to register via www.investonaire.org.

The initiative underscores the government’s commitment to financial inclusion, digital learning, and youth empowerment, aligning with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.
