Nigeria, UAE Partner to Expand Digital Education for Millions of Young Nigerians
The Federal Ministry of Youth Development, through the Nigerian Youth Academy (NiYA), and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Digital School have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) under the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiative (MBRGI) to increase access to digital education for Nigerian youths.
The partnership will also focus on giving the youth more access to practical skills development.
Ayodele Olawande, the Minister of Youth Development, while speaking at the signing ceremony in Dubai, said the partnership will provide the youth with the skills, tools, and opportunities necessary to succeed in the digital world.
The minister appreciated Sapphital Learning Limited, the ministry’s technical partner, for contributing to making NiYA and other digital environment projects successful.
