The Federal University of Health Sciences, Ila Orangun (FUHSI), has released its Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) cut-off marks for the 2025/2026 academic session. Candidates are required to score between 180 and 220, depending on the course for which they are applying.
Courses with higher cut-offs include Medicine and Surgery at 220, Nursing Science 210, and Medical Laboratory Science 210. Other programmes, such as Biochemistry, Biotechnology & Molecular Biology, and Environmental Health Science, have a minimum score of 180. Prospective students are advised to consider less competitive courses if their JAMB scores fall below the required threshold.
FUHSI has also published departmental cut-off marks, which combine JAMB scores with university-specific assessments. For example, the MBBS programme requires a merit score of 78.7%, while the Doctor of Physiotherapy and Nursing Science merit thresholds are 69.6% and 73.1% respectively.
Candidates seeking admission must have a minimum of five credit passes at O’level, including English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, as well as the relevant UTME subject combinations. Applicants can make changes to their institution or course through the JAMB portal, provided they meet these requirements.
