The Faculty of Social Sciences (FSS) at the Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE) has launched the FSS Entrepreneurial Challenge, a programme designed to empower students to turn innovative ideas into practical solutions.
Speaking on the initiative, the Dean of the Faculty, Professor Sunday A. Adedini, said the challenge is designed to nurture creativity, enhance problem-solving skills, and provide students with a platform to showcase entrepreneurial projects with potential social and economic impact.
The competition is open to all students within the Faculty of Social Sciences. Participants can submit proposals individually or in teams, with each submission limited to 1,000 words.
Applications must be submitted online via the designated link by December 19 2025. Students seeking further information have been advised to contact the Dean’s Office.
The faculty described the initiative as part of its broader commitment to fostering innovation, entrepreneurship, and student skills development. Officials hope the challenge will inspire students to develop ideas that address real-world challenges while fostering a culture of enterprise and creativity on campus.
