The Federal University of Petroleum Resources (FUPRE), Effurun, Delta State, has announced the opening of its portal for the 2025/2026 supplementary Post-UTME screening exercise.
The announcement was contained in a statement signed by the Registrar, Dr. (Mrs.) Jane Omoyine, who said the exercise is part of the university’s academic expansion strategy to meet manpower demands and strengthen industry-focused education.
According to the release, the supplementary screening is targeted at candidates seeking admission into newly introduced undergraduate programmes across three colleges.
In the College of Science, FUPRE now offers degree programmes in Microbiology, Biochemistry, and Petroleum Chemistry. The College of Petroleum Administration and Management (CPAM) has introduced programmes in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Procurement Management, Petroleum Information Management, and Entrepreneurship.
Additionally, the College of Maritime and Offshore Studies has commenced programmes in Maritime Transport and Logistics, as well as Maritime Economics and Finance. The statement noted that applicants must have scored a minimum of 170 in the 2025 UTME, missed the earlier Post-UTME screening, and must not have secured admission elsewhere.
Candidates are also required to meet both UTME and O’Level subject requirements for their chosen courses.
