Galaxy Backbone Limited (GBB) and the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI) have partnered to enhance government-wide ICT services, supporting Nigeria’s digital transformation agenda.
The collaboration followed a courtesy visit by GBB’s CEO, Prof. Ibrahim Adeyanju, to NASENI’s Executive Vice Chairman, Mr Khalil Suleiman Halilu, in Abuja.
The engagement aims to deepen interoperability across government platforms, expand digital access, and enable more efficient public services.
GBB emphasised its role in providing a resilient ICT backbone, promoting secure digital platforms, and integrating homegrown technology into national systems.
The partnership aligns with previous initiatives, including efforts to achieve an entirely paperless civil service by December 2025, highlighted by the Head of the Civil Service, Mrs Didi Esther Walson-Jack.
GBB also renewed four key international certifications—ISO 9001, ISO 22301, ISO 20000, and ISO 27001, fortifying national digital infrastructure and enhancing trust in government ICT systems.
Both agencies reassured their commitment to driving a secure, scalable, and sustainable digital ecosystem that will support Nigeria’s public sector efficiency and technology-driven development.
