Globacom Launches Examination Preparatory Service to Boost Students’ CBT Performance

Technology company Globacom has announced the launch of its Examination Preparatory Service, designed to help students excel in Computer-Based Examinations (CBT) by providing the necessary tools and resources for academic success.

In a statement released in Lagos over the weekend, the company highlighted the service’s benefits, including innovative solutions to improve performance in examinations such as JAMB, WAEC, and IELTS. The service is also expected to address the poor performance seen in the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

“The Glo Examination Preparatory Service provides students with practical tips and strategies to improve their examination performance. By subscribing to the service, students can access practice materials, educational videos, and targeted content to support their examination preparation. This comprehensive approach enables students to familiarise themselves with examination formats, identify areas of weakness, and develop effective examination-taking strategies”, said Globacom.

Globacom’s Examination Preparatory Service provides practical tips on becoming familiar with the format, structure, and types of questions asked in examinations, reinforcing their understanding of key concepts, and addressing challenges, thereby increasing their success rates when participating in the examinations.

To subscribe to the service, which covers up to twenty subjects with links to educational videos, students can dial *20791*6# on their mobile lines and select their intended examination from the menu. The content is supplied on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis; users are charged the applicable price for each successful subscription.

Moreover, customers who opt in for this service will have access to trivia questions based on the examination syllabus, with top scorers winning fantastic airtime, data, and cash prizes.

The company explained that the service addresses poor examination performance among secondary school students and candidates taking undergraduate entrance examinations by equipping them with the necessary tools and resources for success.
