Godfrey Okoye University, Enugu, is set to hold the maiden edition of the Department of Accounting and Finance Public Lecture and Colloquium on Wednesday, October 22, 2025.
The event, themed “Harnessing the Capital Market for Catalysing Infrastructure Development and Economic Transformation in Nigeria: Prospects, Challenges and Roadmaps,” will occur at the Peter Mbah Law Auditorium, Thinkers Corner Campus, at 11:00 a.m.
According to the university, the lecture fosters dialogue and innovative thinking in finance, economics, and national development.
The Vice-Chancellor, Rev. Fr. Prof Christian Anieke, noted that the colloquium would bring together scholars, policymakers, and industry leaders to explore strategies for leveraging Nigeria’s capital market to drive infrastructure growth and economic advancement.
The university community, partners and the public are invited to participate in the solution-driven engagement.
