Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University (IBBUL), Lapai, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Sanskaram University in Haryana, India, to promote student and staff exchanges as well as joint research.
The agreement, announced during IBBUL’s 101st Senate meeting, was facilitated by Dr Musa Emmanuel Umaru of the university’s Sociology Department.
Vice Chancellor Professor Hadi Sulaiman stated that the deal would enhance academic development and collaborative research in areas such as criminology, law, medicine, and technology.
Dr Umaru, who initiated the talks during a visit to India, said committees had been established in both institutions to expedite implementation. He added that the partnership would open opportunities for joint projects and exchange visits.
