Junior Achievement Africa and Boeing have partnered to introduce new STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) and entrepreneurship programmes for young people in Nigeria and Togo.
The initiative aims to equip youth with skills to prepare them for future job markets and encourage innovation across both countries.
The programmes officially started in May 2025 and will be implemented in selected schools and communities.
They offer practical training in technology and business development, helping participants build their confidence and improve their chances of economic independence.
This collaboration targets young Nigerians and Togolese aged between 15 and 25, focusing on those in underserved areas.
It responds to the rising demand for digital and entrepreneurial skills in West Africa, where many youths struggle with unemployment.
Junior Achievement Africa brings its extensive experience in youth empowerment, while Boeing supports the project with technical resources and mentorship opportunities.
Both organisations believe this partnership will help bridge the skills gap and create a new generation of innovators and entrepreneurs.
The programme includes workshops, hands-on activities, and online resources, making learning accessible despite challenges posed by geography or infrastructure.
