Isah Miqdad, the Chairman of the Katsina Local Government Council, has awarded full scholarships to 96 students to study at the Katsina State Institute of Technology and Management (KSITM). Awarding the scholarships on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, Miqdad urged the beneficiaries to stay focused and determined, emphasising that support received from their parents or guardians is essential to their education.
Miqdad added, “We deemed it necessary to come to the aid of parents who do not have the opportunity to sponsor their children to pursue their studies.” He also revealed his intentions to provide quality and affordable education to fix about 70% of the problems facing the area’s primary education.
