Kogi State Commissioner for Education, Hon. Wemi Jones, has recently visited the Government Technical College Oboroke in Ihima, Okehi Local Government Area, to inspect the ongoing remodelling and construction work. He assured that the project would be completed promptly to ensure students can begin using the facility without delay. The Project, which has reached 90% completion, is one of the four technical colleges being constructed and remodelled by the Kogi State Government.

Mohammed Ibrahim of Musalib Construction Company stated that the state Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, would ensure the quick completion of the project to boost the study of technical and vocational education in the State. He stated that all the technical colleges in the State would be remodelled in line with the federal government’s Policy to ensure that students acquire entrepreneurial skills for self-sustainability.
The Commissioner urged the contractor to ensure the project’s quick completion in line with the contract specifications. Responding, the project Engineer, Mohammed Ibrahim, assured that the project would be completed on time and by the work plan and contract specifications.
