The Kogi State Education Commissioner has showered praise on Prince Olatunji Olusoji during an esteemed Fellowship award ceremony at Kabba. The event, organised by the Management of Kogi State College of Education (Technical), Mopa, recognised the outstanding contributions of Prince Olusoji, Chairman of the PROOF Foundation, who generously allocated over fifteen million to fund the education of 100 students pursuing their three-year NCE programme across Kabba/Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency.
In a resounding speech, the Honourable Commissioner lauded Prince Olusoji for his dedication to advancing education in the state. Emphasising the importance of such philanthropic support, the Commissioner highlighted the transformative impact it has on the lives of students and the broader community. He urged other benevolent individuals to join hands in bolstering education efforts, stressing the collaborative spirit needed to propel Kogi State towards greater success.
Furthermore, the Commissioner emphasised the government’s unwavering commitment to revitalising the education system in the state under the leadership of Governor Usman Ahmed Ododo. Noting the implementation of free education and the elimination of fees for both external and internal examinations, he underscored the substantial 30% annual budget allocation dedicated to education, illustrating the administration’s prioritisation of fostering a vibrant and inclusive learning environment.
