KolaDaisi University holds retreat on leadership, service delivery


KolaDaisi University (KDU), Ibada, has organised a two-day retreat for its senior staff to discuss how to deliver excellent services, uphold institutional values, and promote excellence.


The retreat focused on solutions for improving service delivery through student-based administrative practices, improved work practices, and effective feedback systems.


Prof. Adeniyi Olatunbosun, the Vice-Chancellor of the institution, highlighted the significance of capacity building in making the university distinct in both administrative and academic matters in his opening remarks.


The Vice-Chancellor added that senior staff play an essential role in ensuring the university runs smoothly and maintains standards.


Supporting this, Prof. Olajumoke Morenikeji, the deputy vice chancellor and retreat facilitator, while speaking on ‘Strengthening Leadership, Strategy and Service Delivery in the University System,’ noted, “In every thriving university system, the role of senior staff is pivotal. As custodians of institutional values, policies, and culture, they significantly shape the university’s long-term success.”
