AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, the Governor of Kwara State, has approved the disbursement of ₦5.2 million to cover the medical bills of 13 students who were involved in an auto crash on their way to Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto (UDUS).
While the accident occurred along the Yauri-Sokoto Expressway in Kebbi State, which claimed the life of their driver, eight of the students had bone fractures, while five others are receiving a series of medical care at the UDUS Teaching Hospital, Sokoto.
The governor, in a statement released by the Hon. Wasiu Onidugbe, his Special Assistant on Students’ Affairs, prayed for the students’ quick recovery.
