The Lagos State Universal Basic Education Board (LASUBEB) has opened applications for individuals seeking teaching positions in public schools across the state. The recruitment exercise, approved by the Governor, aims to strengthen the delivery of quality education in Lagos’s basic education sector.
LASUBEB stated that the application portal, accessible at subebjobs.lagosstate.gov.ng, is the only official platform for submissions. The process is designed to ensure transparency, merit-based selection, and accessibility for applicants across the state.
Eligible candidates must hold professional teaching qualifications, including the Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE), B.Ed, B. A or B.Sc in Education, or a Higher National Diploma (HND) with a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE).
The initiative forms part of Lagos State’s ongoing efforts to ensure classrooms are staffed with qualified and motivated teachers, reflecting the government’s focus on improving education as a driver of social and economic development.
