Adeyemi Federal University of Education, Ondo, has named new academic and administrative heads in a significant leadership rotation.
The announcement, which took effect on 1 August, brings in new deans of faculties, directors and heads of departments, following the end of the two-year tenure of their predecessors. The new officers will also serve for two years, subject to review. At a brief handover on campus, the Vice-Chancellor thanked the outgoing leaders for their service and charged the new appointees to uphold the university’s standards. The changes, he said, were part of a long-standing tradition aimed at keeping the institution responsive and innovative.
Officials described the turnover as a deliberate renewal of leadership, ensuring accountability and continuity across the university’s academic and administrative units. AFUED, one of Nigeria’s leading universities of education, regards the periodic reshuffle as central to sustaining academic rigour while preparing for new challenges in higher learning.
