The Lagos State Agricultural Development Authority (LSADA) has held a two-day meeting with the South-West Research Extension Farmers Input Linkage Systems (REFILS) Steering Committee Meeting to discuss new methods to improve research and innovation in the agricultural sector.
The meeting welcomed stakeholders from the South-West states and representatives from research institutes, universities, and agricultural development programmes.
Ms Abisola Olusanya, the Lagos State Commissioner for Agriculture and Food Systems, represented by Mr Emmanuel Fatai Audu, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, said the meeting was organised to review progress made in 2025.
She added that it was also held to evaluate the ongoing research and extension activities in the zone.
In addition, she mentioned that knowledge is a key driver of policies, programmes, and development.
