MAAUN–AISD participated in the launch of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence in Maiduguri, Borno State, joining government leaders, civil society, and community groups to promote gender equality and protect women and girls.
The AISD/MAAUN team contributed 100 units of refreshments and engaged in community awareness, demonstrating the institution’s commitment to social development and inclusive programs.
Civil servants received ICT training to enhance service delivery, while local community members learned Tailoring and Fashion Design skills for sustainable livelihoods.
The event was attended by AISD staff from Kano, partner NGOs, government officials, and religious leaders.
