Madonna University, Nigeria, has established the Centre for TETFUND Academic Staff Training and Development, a strategic initiative to strengthen the institution’s academic capacity and research excellence.
The newly created centre will manage the administration of TETFund-sponsored postgraduate programmes, including Master’s and Doctoral degrees, while ensuring strict adherence to funding guidelines. It will also monitor and evaluate the deployment of TETFund resources to guarantee transparency and measurable outcomes in academic staff training.
In addition, the centre will foster strategic partnerships with educational institutions and research agencies to promote collaboration, knowledge sharing, and innovative scholarship.
According to the University, the centre’s establishment is committed to academic excellence and national development through structured staff training and capacity enhancement.
The institution noted that the initiative would serve as a cornerstone for improving the quality of teaching, research and professional development across Nigerian universities.
