The Vice-Chancellor of Ajayi Crowther University (ACU), Professor Timothy Adebayo, has praised the Mind Education programme for helping students grow emotionally and mentally. The programme was added to the university curriculum two years ago.
Following a recent three-day Mind Education Camp led by South Korean experts and the ACU’s Faculty of Education, Professor Adebayo noted that the programme teaches values such as unity and peace. It started in South Korea in 2001 and is now used worldwide.
The Vice-Chancellor stated that students have shown improvement in patience, emotional control, and decision-making. Mind Education is now one of the three certificates that students receive upon completing their studies. Professor Adebayo thanked the South Korean team and ACU staff for their support and said the programme will continue to help students prepare for life beyond school.
