A new partnership between MTN Nigeria and the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) is bringing hope to public education in Abuja through digital learning.
Last Friday, MTN donated 600 digital tablets to 12 public secondary schools in the FCT. The FCT Minister of State, Dr Mariya Mahmoud, described the move as a significant step toward improving access to education and digital tools. The tablets are part of MTN’s initiative to provide 4,600 devices to schools across Nigeria, aiming to help close the digital gap and support modern learning.
Experts say digital tools help students do better and learn more engagingly. The project also supports President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, which focuses on youth and education. FCTA officials praised the donation, stating that it would help prepare students for the global job market. For many students, these tablets mark the start of a brighter, tech-driven future.
