The Nigerian Association of Medical and Dental Academics (NAMDA) has denied circulating news that its members are on strike.
In a statement signed by the association’s principal officers, it said, “NAMDA is not on strike, and we will not be blackmailed, coaxed, or lured away from the interest of our members.”
It added that, though its members have long been neglected, they still support lawful demands that protect their interests.
The association also expressed that its leadership has met with the Minister of Education and received an encouraging result.
