The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Joint Campus Council, Ondo State Axis, has criticised the consistent attacks and killings of students at Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko (AAUA).
The Union expressed its concerns over the killing of a female student, weeks after two were murdered. Comrade Adekanye Mayomi Adeboye, the NANS JCC Chairman, and Comrade Oladele Oluwafemi Emmanuel, the General Secretary, called on the Ondo State Government and security agencies to tighten security. NANS requested that the prosecutors be arrested and that students’ safety be improved. The association further called on the citizens to support security efforts in the state and condemn the killings.
