The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) will host the first Digital Awareness and Sensitisation Forum on November 13, 2025, in Abuja, aimed at strengthening policy and innovation for a digital future.
The forum, themed “Leaving No One Behind: Digital Assets, Equity, and Empowerment,” will bring together industry experts, policymakers, and community stakeholders to discuss digital inclusion, infrastructure deployment, and adaptive literacy programs. Sessions will explore strategies for empowering underserved communities and bridging the digital divide.
Nnenna Ukoha, NCC Head of Public Affairs, noted the forum will showcase innovations from fintech organisations, students, and innovators, highlighting Nigeria’s potential in the digital economy.
Stakeholders involved include the Universal Service Provision Fund (USPF), National Orientation Agency (NOA), Association of Telecommunications Operators of Nigeria (ATCON), and others.
The event will be livestreamed via scf.ncc.gov.ng to ensure nationwide participation.
