NCCE Partners with Content Oasis to Expand ICT Access

The National Commission for Colleges of Education (NCCE) has partnered with Content Oasis Limited to provide wireless broadband across Federal Colleges of Education.


The agreement, signed on November 10, 2025, at NCCE headquarters in Abuja, aims to enhance digital access and transform teacher education.


Executive Secretary, Prof. Paulinus Chijioke Okwelle, described the initiative as a milestone in integrating ICT into academic programmes. Under the partnership, Content Oasis will install broadband infrastructure and base stations at no cost, offering flexible subscription models for affordability.


The initiative is expected to improve internet access for students, lecturers, and administrators, while extending digital services to surrounding communities. Okwelle highlighted its potential to equip future teachers with the skills needed to thrive in Nigeria’s knowledge economy.


Founder of Content Oasis, Mr Diseye Isoun, lauded NCCE’s vision and pledged continued support to develop smart educational ecosystems within the Colleges of Education.
