The Faculty of Law at Niger Delta University, Bayelsa State, has introduced new digital teaching aids aimed at improving classroom learning.
Bright projectors and electric screens have been installed in lecture halls, with staff and students saying the equipment will make lessons more interactive and accessible. The upgrade was provided by the Goldcoast Developmental Foundation, an NGO led by Dr Moses Oruaze Dickson, who lectures at the faculty. He said the intervention followed his observation of the need for better teaching facilities.
Faculty officials described the installation as timely. The Dean, Prof Gogo George Otuturu, represented by Faculty Officer Kehinde Slaboh, said the tools would improve lecture delivery and encourage more student participation.
The Law Students Association of Nigeria welcomed the development, saying it would help bridge the gap between traditional methods and modern teaching technology. University authorities have appealed for additional support from alumni and public institutions to enhance the institution’s infrastructure.
