NUC Grant UCH Approval To Offer BSC Nursing
The National Universities Commission (NUC) has approved the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan, to run a full-time Bachelor of Nursing Science (B.NSc) degree programme in affiliation with the University of Ibadan (UI).
Dr. (Mrs.) Adenike Olaniyi, the Principal of the School of Nursing, UCH, appreciated the hospital management team, led by Prof. Jesse Abiodun Otegbayo, the chief medical director (CMD) of the college hospital, for their continued support.
Describing the approval as a dream fulfilled, she said, “Students will now have the opportunity to pursue a prestigious nursing degree right within the walls of the University College Hospital, Ibadan.”
The CMD congratulated the hospital on the approval, noting that it will bring more development and growth.
