OAGF Conducts Verification for Polytechnic Staff

The Office of the Accountant General of the Federation (OAGF) has conducted a comprehensive on-site verification and data capture exercise for new staff members at the Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Owerri, Imo State.

The process began with Mr Stanley Ugochukwu Njoku leading the registry division team to check the staff’s documents. This was followed by the bursary division and OAGF, who conducted the staff’s data capture and verification process.

Njoku stated, “This verification is not optional. It is the gateway to your inclusion in the national wage system. Any staff who failed to participate in the mandatory verification exercise will not be payrolled and risk withdrawal of his/her appointment.”

Dr. (Mrs.) Basilia Nkemdilim Igbokwe, the rector, appreciated the registrar and bursar for overseeing the process.

The rector also described the exercise as a testament to the federal government’s transparency and accountability in managing human resources in tertiary institutions.
