Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, is inviting M.Sc. and PhD students to apply for a funded international study exchange at the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna in Italy. The programme, part of the “Staff and Learners for Teaching/Training and Traineeship” initiative under Key Action KA 171 International Credit Mobility, allows participants to spend between 3 and 6 months abroad.
The exchange offers students the opportunity to gain new technical skills, improve language proficiency, and engage in research collaboration or thesis supervision. Focus areas include data communication, 5G technologies, and AI/ML-based zero-touch network management.
Selected candidates will receive a monthly grant of €1,100, with additional financial support of up to €800 for travel expenses. Support is provided to secure accommodation and obtain visa documentation, though students are expected to cover costs from their grant.
Applicants must demonstrate a minimum B1 level of English proficiency, verified by a certificate or an oral interview. To apply, students should submit a study or research plan aligned with available courses for the Fall semester (March–July 2026), a motivation letter in English detailing objectives and expected outcomes, and relevant personal documentation.
Interested candidates can contact Prof. A. O. Oluwatope, Lead, Comnet Lab, Department of Computer Engineering, at aoluwato@oauife.edu.ng. The deadline for applications is Thursday, 11 December 2025, by 11:59 p.m.
